How does the 3D AR menu work?

When a guest taps a 3D-enabled dish, a photorealistic 3D model appears. They can rotate and zoom it freely, or tap 'Place in AR' to project the dish onto their actual table using the phone camera. iOS uses USDZ models; Android uses GLB — Foovii auto-detects the device and serves the right format. All 3D models are produced by Foovii's team, so restaurants don't need to source or create any 3D content themselves. No app download required.

Does Foovii require guests to download an app?

No. Foovii works entirely in the mobile browser. Guests scan the QR code and the menu opens instantly — no app store, no sign-up, no friction.

What payment methods does Foovii support?

Foovii supports Apple Pay, Google Pay, and card payments via Stripe or Square. Guests pay with one biometric tap (Face ID or fingerprint). Restaurants need their own Stripe or Square account — funds are deposited directly into that account with no intermediary.

What languages does Foovii support?

English is fully supported today. Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (Simplified) are coming soon. Foovii automatically detects the guest's device language and switches the menu accordingly — no manual selection needed. This is especially valuable for restaurants serving inbound tourists.

How long does it take to set up Foovii?
